And I'm from the deep South. :-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1588313883218863206.post-66195999088974456962009-08-07T00:30:52.707-04:002009-08-07T00:30:52.707-04:00Oh, so that's the problem--I've been letti...Oh, so that's the problem--I've been letting the tea bags sit too long.

This weekend's going to be a hot one. I think I'll make some. I like it homemade too. A little bit of sugar though and lots of ice. Iced coffee is also good.

www.GreenerPastures--ACityGirlGoesCountry.blogspot.comGreener Pastures--A City Girl Goes Countryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05448845964131250749noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1588313883218863206.post-64819847554314031372009-08-06T20:21:06.739-04:002009-08-06T20:21:06.739-04:00Kathy - I keep a pitcher of tea in the fridge year...Kathy - I keep a pitcher of tea in the fridge year round.

Gilly - When it's really cold, I will drink hot tea - Earl Grey with a little sugar. No, we are all addicted to "proper" tea - a nice cuppa!

Warm the teapot, put in at least two tea bags of good old "Englich" tea, pour on fast boiling water, and let brew, mash or whatever your local word is, for 5 minutes.

Add milk to tea cup, pour out tea (or in reverse order, there is much heated argument over this!) add sugar if you must (ugh!) and there you have it. A cupt that cheers!

No, I don't like these fancy herbal and fruit teas, either. Though green tea is very refreshing and soothing!Gillyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00322140697547406511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1588313883218863206.post-28084743179269345432009-08-05T20:53:49.658-04:002009-08-05T20:53:49.658-04:00I've taken to drinking it all year round.
