To be sung to the tune of "Pants On the Ground" by General Larry Platt ....
Snow on the ground,
Snow on the ground,
Actin' like a fool when there's snow on the ground.
Can't go to work,
Can't go to school,
Can't do nuthin' when there's snow on the ground.
Gotta buy milk,
Gotta buy bread,
Shoulda bought beer but there's snow on the ground.
Slammin' on the brakes,
Slidin" off the road,
Drivin' like a fool when there's snow on the ground.

We've got more snow too, I'm fed up with this!
You be careful, we don't want any more accidents in blogland!
I love it! After all those mild(ish), wet, dreary winters that slid smoothly into cold(ish) wet, dreary summers, I'm really enjoying a proper winter with lovely crisp snow.
Lovely photos....
I like the song rewrite!
Isn't it just beautiful? Just love it. Did crack up to your version of "pants on the ground"
Oh my God, did you make that up? That was funnier than the original version!
Beautiful! We didn't get any of the white stuff this time. It was just very cold here. Kinda boring...
Lol! Very very clever! And I prefer your version of the song.
Still lots of snow here. Guess I'm going to have to shovel my entire driveway so I don't get stuck again.
Heee heeee... I'm the 'driving like a fool' person in that song!
Love it!

Snow on the way AGAIN! You may have to keep singing this song a few more weeks until spring gets here.
