Winter boredom ............
We've been snuggled up inside since the weather turned cooler. Even the kitties don't want to go out. They keep an eye on their yard by lounging in front of the window.
We are suffering from winter boredom. Every so often I pull out my long 'To Do' list, look it over, sigh, and put it back. I just can't get motivated to do anything other than eat, read, and sleep.
Actually, we've had a very mild winter so far. No snow, no sleet, and very few days below freezing. We've even had several days warm enough to open the windows and fill the house with fresh air.
I'm anxiously awaiting spring.

I hope you are feeling better. I was very glad today when you commented on my blog, because I had been wondering if you were okay.
Spring will be here soon!
The winter blahs...yeah, they can be a pain.
We are anticipating our first real snowfall of the winter tomorrow.
I am glad you are filling better and see your post today. I know what you mean by bored, I was so bored I had to do something, Got myself some yarn and started crocheting again. Cleaned out a closet and found 2 boxes of my cross stitching stuff I forgot I had and will be doing that soon again too. Just can't stand not being able to get outside and do some gardening.
I haven't been out of the house in several days because the weather is too bad. I don't mind because I have plenty of knitting to do. I listen to audible books, watche NASA T V, read blogs, and surf the Internet.
Hay, nothing wrong with eating, reading and sleeping. Besides after your bout with the crud, you probably need to rest.
Hope you are all better now.
Oh no not spring yet! I haven't gotten my Virginia snow! It did just a touch of sleeting earlier tonight and now it's just plain old rain! Sigh!
Hope you are feeling better!
Grace
It's been a very mild winter in New England as well with many 40-50 degree days. This past week was very cold (normal 20 degree weather but windy.....brrrrr.
Tonight we are expecting 4" of snow, but that is no big deal around here.
Your kitties have the right idea.
I'm always looking forward to spring this time of year. Starting to get the winter blues...even though we really haven't had much cold weather.
We had some snow today, a very thin covering but enough to make the dogs huddle inside. We put down a extra peepad. Dianne
Glad you are feeling better. The colds did not hit us until after we returned from our post-holiday road trip to visit family in New England, thankfully. Seems that since then, I have had little time to be bored as we are definitely planning to sell our home and relocate. The big question around here lately has been...how did we accumulate SO much stuff in the less than 7 years of living here full-time. We spent 2 years here only part-time working on the house. But I have been making time at night to veg out and read and check blogs, which sadly I have to virtually ignore during the day or I would never get away for the PC!
I think it's natural to feel like that in the winter. Like bears, we're supposed to hibernate, eat and sleep. On the other hand, you're completely over that meningitis I hope?
I'm with AR Patti-nothing wrong with eating, reading and sleeping.
It seems I am too busy to read and blog lately. Also I am sleeping longer--maybe I am learning the worth of hibernation.
But I do have a blog in the works the last part of our trip, but have not had time to work on photos.
Winter has arrived here in the UK after some very unseasonal milder days. And I can't get myself to doing all that should be done. Like the ironing! And sorting out loads of files I have inherited as Secretary of our local U3A organisation.
I had better nudge myself somewhere and get going!
How are you feeling? You haven't written in a while.
Un saludo desde Canarias
