Willie ......
I live outside a small rural Virginia town. Not much ever happens here. We don't even have a proper grocery store. If Dollar General doesn't carry what you want, you drive over ten miles to another town. My home town has gone the way of so many small towns in America. I can remember when I was in school, main street would be a bustling place on Friday afternoons. There were several grocery stores, a couple of drugstores, hardware stores, clothing stores, a 5 and 10, an appliance store, a furniture store, and several car dealers. Today main street is almost empty. People go out of town to shop and for entertainment.
Tomorrow night, people will be coming to our town. Willie Nelson will be giving a concert at Hooper Park. He is a legend in country music. I may not be a huge country music fan, but I can't pass up the opportunity to see him in person. This sleepy little town will be bustling again at least for a night.

So Willie's coming to see you. As a Texan I know all about Willie. I don't care much for country music either but then there's Willie. Perhaps you'll get to see his bus. I hop you have a fun time..
I'm sure ol' Willie will put on a wonderful show. Have a great time!
Oh have fun!!
Love Willie. I see he is on the road again. Good to see you after this hot hot summer. Dianne
Oh wow! I hope you enjoy that. Sounds great!
WOW how great, but I bet you will be thrilled to claim your sleepy little town back soon after.
Interesting comments here, Mary, and all of them were about Willie Nelson coming to your town vs. the sadness that downtown has disappeared. It's the same way for us here on the VA eastern shore. Years ago, this area and other communities were bustling with shops, not so now. We have a lone grocery store, so thankfully do not have to drive too far to shop. Pity is that it doesn't provide much variety or choices.
Willie Nelson is in my area frequently -- just this past weekend at a local college concert, and frequently in Branson about 90 miles from here.
I am not a C&W music lover, but Willie is bigger than his music, so he is a must see.
