The winter blahs .........

I have the winter blahs. I have no energy. I think of things I need to do or want to do, but I don't seem to accomplish anything. I'm not depressed. In fact, I'm quite happy sitting under a throw reading or watching TV. It's just too cold to go outside or to go anywhere. I've even been neglectful in reading blogs.(I did try to catch up on posts tonight.) Maybe I'm hibernating.

I will be glad to see some warmer weather. I think a few warm, sunny days will energize me. This has been a long and cold winter.

Two of my babies are not feeling well. Mollie Ann has been throwing up all day. Maybe she ate something she shouldn't have. I'm keeping an eye on her. Mazie Grace seems to feel fine, but she hasn't eaten much the last few days. Do cats get the stomach flu? Maggie May is 100% as usual. She is stretched out in front of the computer monitor and her paw is resting on the keyboard as I type.

Cabin fever runs high in winter here too.

We have one cat that throws up every day, but he also eats toilet paper, newspaper and plants.....LOL

It is hard to get motivated to do anything when it is so cold and dreary outside. I have been hibernating a bit myself. Hope the cats feel better.

Cats are notorious for throwing up. I have one who is periodic and I usually give him a fur ball med which seems to make him well for a while.
I don't worry too much unless they have a fever or lose their appetites, then I hustle them off to the vets. They are prone to kidney problems.

Some cats throw up as their hobby -- chances are yours have a bug, or ate one!

I have a serious case of winter blahs, too.

I'm looking forward to the warmer weather also. It seems to be when I am in the house that i am never off the computer. I was off work today, so I had a good clear out from one of my rooms.
Hope your cats improve. Either Maggie May thinks your computer keyboard is a plaything, would rather have your attention or wants to share in sending us all greetings too !!

I feel the same way...kind of blah. One more month then spring will be here.

I used to let my cat eat some grass when she seemed sick. For some reason that helped her. She would throw it up, but then she was fine. I don't know if you have any grass with all this snow, but maybe that would help.

I completely understand the winter blues. I cannot believe it's only the end of January and we have had so much snow! I'd say, throw a blanket over you, have a cup of tea and watch a good show or movie or read a good book. That's about all this colod weather is good for you.

I think cats can get the flu...I hope so anyway! One of my cats just stopped throwing up after 2 days of it, another did the same last week. And still one other, the baby, Lola, has a cold....usually that means it's going to get passed around.

I hope Mollie Ann feels okay soon and stops throwing up. I think cats get the blues sometimes too.
Hang in there!

I have the winter blahs too. I am exhausted and all I'd like to do is sleep. But of course I can't. It's probably stress over this moving stuff you know I'm going through and just because it's winter.

I hope the cats are okay! Maybe they have the winter blahs.
