My garden ...........

I'm finally posting pictures of my garden. We are getting squash, cucumbers, radishes, and lettuce. I've had a few small tomatoes ripen, but they have had dry rot on the bottom and were not usable. We had a big chef salad for supper using bounty from the garden. Ummm good!

We're having another hot week with temperatures in the 90s. It's midnight and my thermometer says it's still 79 degrees outside. We've been getting smoke the last couple of nights from a forest fire near Wilmington, North Carolina. Some people actually woke up thinking their houses were on fire and called the fire department.

WOW, those leave are so huge and green and the veggies are getting so big as well. Green thumb, I'm guessing?

Is there anything better than harvesting your own crops.
I am impressed, no squash beetles? I really want to put in some winter squash but hate those darn bugs.
Eat well.

Oh yum. My garden has not yet brought forth a single item, but we also planted very late. I hoping for squash soon.

Nice garden. We have cattle drinking tanks we use for container gardening.

So far we have sweet green bell peppers and small pear shaped tomatoes. Had a salad last night.

Gosh, Wilmington is a way from you. It must be some fire. Your garden bounty looks spendid. Nice healthy plants that love the hot weather. Dianne

IAlthough it's not quite accurate in this case, It's always good to see the "fruit" of ones labour. & a nice display it is too.

We have some tomatoes growing but nothing to harvest yet.

I feel so bad for those people struggling with the fires and floods. It is so devestating to lose your home.

Oh my prayers go out to all the people out there! I sure hope those fires go down soon!

Your tomatoes look great!

Thanks
Leontien

My tomatoes continue to flower but no fruit. I'm not sure what is going on!

Your garden looks great!

Every summer we have wildfire problems, mostly in the northcentral area of Alaska. Very familiar with the smoke and smell of fire . . .
