A relaxing water fountain .........

image001.jpg

We got a water fountain this spring and set it beside the deck. It is so relaxing to sit and listen to the water as it falls from one level to the other. I can close my eyes and imagine that I am a child again, spending my summer afternoons at the creek. I've spent more time than I should lately sitting on the deck and reading to the sound of the water.

I've gotten the house back in order. I still need to do some deep cleaning, but I'm putting that off for now. We need to get the rest of the rooms painted. One thing leads to another.

We're beginning to get zuchinni and cucumbers from the garden. We have little green tomatoes that won't be ripe any time soon. Nothing is better than a ripe, juicy tomato straight from the garden. Umm, Umm. I can hardly wait.

I love a warm tomato from the garden. Nice fountain and it is just the type I am wanting.

I like the fountain! Do you mind if I ask where you got it? Is it solar or did you have to wire it?

I love fresh tomatoes. We've planted four: Cherokee purple, chocolate cherry, Genovese, and big rainbow. We have small fruit so far. We might have tomatoes by the 4th. I've also planted three eggplant and one pepper. Everything is in pots.

I love the sound of water, rain etc ....very soothing. I bet the cats and birds like it too.

I love that fountain! It's so pretty. MY garden is growing slowly. Probably bc I've been ignoring it and blogging instead, LOL.

Love your fountain and bet the birds do also.
Mine is ground level so not only the birds visit but that blankety blank veggie eating rabbit frequents it also. Even so, I would never part with it. Enjoy.

Our zucchini is coming in too. I planted the cucumbers late, so they have a while. I also harvested our entire beet crop this week - I'm going to replant (I really love beets).

The fountain does sound wonderful!

It is a lovely fountain. We have completely renovated our front yard and now on other sorely needed areas/ We are going to add some statuary but nothing that takes a lot of maintenance, like fountains and bird baths

I would bet you are one of those girls who eats sliced tomato sandwiches. I love fresh produce and miss my big vegetable garden. I gotta get a spashy fountain, but don't know where I would put it. Dianne

There is nothing better than the sound of water nearby.

I have little green tomatoes too in the garden. I can't wait for the first tomato sandwich this summer!

I'm sorry to brag but I'm getting two tomatoes a day now. The neighbors were worried when I planted them so early but it appears this city girl has a green thumb.

We should all sit on the deck more often and read and listen to wonderful sounds like water. That's what life is all about.
