Finally, a new chair .........

July%202013%20001[2].jpg

I've been looking for new chairs for my living room for several months. I looked everywhere and could not find what I was looking for - a small, comfortable chair. We went looking again yesterday and I ended up getting the La-Z-Boy chair shown above. It is bigger in scale than I wanted, but it is very comfortable. I just got tired of looking and settled for what I could find. I'm sure it will grow on me, and I'm sure I will have some nice naps while lounging in it. It's hard to find furniture that works in small houses. That's Mollie Ann grooming her feet.

We're still having hot and very humid weather. It's like living in a sauna. We're suppose to get more rain Thursday. This has been the wettest summer I can remember.

Those chairs are notorious for putting you to sleep. I miss mine--got some of my best rest in one.
We could use some of your water. Been cool and dry in the Ozarks all of June, now we are just dry. The cool is gone.

As we age comfort in furniture is a big factor when making a purchase. You are going to LOVE this chair... My husband needs a new one too!

We've been in DC the past few days and it is steamy. Today the heat index is going to be 105*. Ick.

Apparently it's the wettest July ever. But that is a very nice chair.

Don't know how I missed this one. Of course you will be lucky to have the use of the chair with all those cats who like cat naps.

We have destructive cats, so I keep putting off getting new furniture. Do you have a trick to keep them away? We have scratching post and cardboard scratchers and the great outdoors.
