Playing and cleaning ..........

I just realized I haven't posted in two weeks. My apologies. We've been busy playing with our toys and having fun. I've read several books on my Nook and Mollie Ann has spread her toys throughout the house.

Our weather has improved and it feels like spring is not far away. We actually had temperatures in the mid 70s the other day. The warmer weather has energized me and I've been doing some cleaning. It's so nice to be able to put sheets and quilts on the line to dry in the fresh breeze.

I've even gotten outside to work in the yard and garden a few times. Most things are still brown and dead looking, but if you look closely you can see some signs of new life.

Spring is on it's way.

I envy your signs of spring. We were teased by 3 days of 50-60 degree weather, midweek, and then the last 2 days have been freezing.

I am so please to see Mollie Ann is now indoors; apparently the other 2 have gotten over the newcomer's arrival?? LOL

We have also been having some great weather. I hung sheets and blankets out on the line yesterday. Such a nice change from the snow and cold.

My cats love these warm springlike days.

Mollie Ann looks so happy! Has the 'war' abated at all? Truce called?

Yes, the warmer weather has been nice. We've been walking around outside clearing up sticks and branches. There are signs of life, but I suspect these will be hidden by the snow we're supposed to get tonight. Yuck!

Ya for spring! Do you like the Nook? I've been thinking of buying one.

Wild swings in the weather lately. 75 last week and 23 last night. Still, my little bulbs are poking up and full of hope. Trying to ID your green clump of shoots. I know I have something like that in my yard. Is that Liriope by any chance?

We have had wlld swings in weather, today in the 30s.

And yes, there are signs of spring.

However, the cat;s acceptance inside is warming, too.

I haven't posted lately for several reasons of health, but also my husband and I have in the midst of changing medical priorities, i.e. physicians, for various reasons. Both of us ae seeking more consistent care.

That may be chasing rainbows.....

Enjoy your NOOK. I am my Kindle.

It sure looks a lot different where you live then here in the Chicago land area. Love the quilt. Reminds me of country living. Great shot of the cat, too.

Blessings,

Kym

Mollie Ann looks like a (cute!) trouble maker. We have one just like her.

Speaking of pets, it would be remiss of me not to say Happy (belated) Presidents Pets Day - the day after Presidents Day, as I like to call it. In the US, we love our presidents..... pets. See my blog if you’re in the mood for a good ol' irreverent howl.

Me too. I've been in the gardening mood and have been weeding and cleaning up and I see buds!

That cat is so cute! What a life, huh?

We did a bit of yardwork this week-end. The weather was much too heavenly to stay indoors with temps in the low 70's here. Now today it's looking more like March weather with clouds and rain.

I wish there were signs of spring where I live! There's grass but it looks pretty tired.

Your cat looks so happy!
