A gorgeous weekend ........

.
.
What a change from last weekend, when we had 8 inches of snow and nighttime temperatures in the single digits. Today was sunny and up to 80 degrees. This is my kind of weather!

Hubbie took advantage of the weather and washed his cars. The green one on top is a 1968 Road Runner and the blue one is a 1969 GTX. He spends all his spare time and money on these vehicles. They are both completely restored now. After he finished with his cars, he decided to try and catch up on his sleep. He worked over 100 hours last week. Tomorrow we will clean up the limbs in the yard.
.
I wanted to spend as much time as possible outside, so I weeded flower beds and picked up some of the smaller sticks. I saw so much that needs to be done outside. I'm anxious to get the garden squares set up and planted and the flower beds planted. It's still a bit early, but spring can't be too far away.

It was a beautiful day here to, but I spent it inside at work. Now it is dark and I missed it.

Oh, today was wonderful...but not quite as warm as you had. Hubbie and I worked outside doing a lot of pruning and trying to shape things up out front for now. Will work in the back tomrrow or Monday if the springlike weather continues. Can't plant anything until the first of May just to be sure..DARN IT. I'm ready....

Thanks for popping into my blog. Your husband sounds like my son-in-law who loves his old car (not too sure what it is, I'm clueless on that subject,) and he also has 4, yes 4, old motorbikes!

But spring is struggling out here, the sun is lovely now but cloud and wintry showers forecast for later. :( I imagine there is a great deal of difference between Virginia and northwest England right now!

Everyone has spring fever! Thank goodness, it looks like it's on the way. Though as Nonie said, we often have our last frost in May.

I love classic cars. If I had tons of money, I'd get a late 60s (or early 70s?) model Dodge Challenger.

Nice cars! A labour of love, I suspect.

Lucky you on the 80 degree weather. Winter still holding on here in the upper midwest. It's getting milder and the snow is receding, but just as it recedes we get another drop. Tonight we get another inch. Thursday we get another three. I can't wait for Spring.

My girlfriend has a 1968 Roadrunner, same color, all restored. She tells me it's low ET. All I know is that's fast. She used to race it at Englishtown in New Jersey. What fun we had when we were two single chicks bouncing around in that thing, lol.

Like your commenter Carla, I also love classic cars. I'd have a 1968 Dodge Charger, olive green with a black stripe around the tail end.
