Lotions, potions, and sprays ...........

My name is Mary and I am a lotion, potion, and spray addict. Continuing my declutter efforts, I decided to go through the stuff in the cabinet in my bathroom. It was crammed full of colognes, perfumes, body lotions, powders, and sunscreens. Where did all this stuff come from? I threw away a bunch of stuff that was separating or beginning to smell off. I have no idea how old some of the items are. I wish the manufacturers would put expiration dates on everything. Even after decluttering, I still have enough left to last me for years.

I'm always tempted by delicious smelling sets of bath gel, body lotion and spray. I'll buy a new set, use it for awhile then replace it with another new set. The half-used set goes in the cabinet. I love to pamper myself by soaking in a bubble filled tub, then covering myself from head to toe with lotion and spritzing on a wonderful scent. Ahhh - pure bliss.

Are there any other lotion, potion, and spray addicts out there?

Nope, that's not me. Doesn't it feel good though to declutter the bathroom drawers, and shelves? I too am always amazed at how long I've kept things.

I have a friend whose daughter works as a buyer of cosmetics in a major store chain.
Periodically she sends me large care packages full of lotions, potions and sprays from Estee Lauder, Clinique, etc.
I give away lots but am still swamped. Know how you feel.

I can't resist a good sale at Bath & Body works so you know how my closets look!

I, too, am a product junkie and love buying all kinds of different products!

OMG...I have to introduce you to my husband. He has this problem big time, and it even extends to hair products: mouse, sprays, shampoos and conditioners, and then deodorants, shaving creams and bandaids.

I would get so annoyed as many of the items have separated and are beyond their expiration dates. We could open our own CVS pharmacy.LOL

Myself, once a year to Bath and Body Works: Vanilla, Coconut and Fresh Cotton are some of my favorite body creams.

Hi! I came here from your comment on my blog... happy to meet you. I thought I was the only one with so many bottles of lotions and potions. I moved here four years ago, and I still have lots of them that I brought with me. Yet, I keep trying new ones!

Glad to know I'm not the only Bath & Body Works junkie.

Right now, I'm totally in love with Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy.

No, not me in that section of the retail trade! But I do have an awful lot of spray cleaners for the kitchen! I want one that I can spray over the whole lot and it will immediately turn clean and sparkling!

I try to stick to a few basics. Just my homemade goat milk soap from Rebecca the Deli Bar gal here in Roanoke. One body lotion and one bottle of CK One cologne which has a light citrusy smell. I taste sniff lots of them in the stores but don't spend money on them because I know from past experience that they will simply end up not used in the bathroom cabinet.
