She's home !! ................

Look who came to the front door at 5:00 this morning! She came inside, ate a can of food, sat in my lap for a few minutes, then insisted on going back outside. She came back inside at her usual 7 AM, and is now sleeping in the chair. She refuses to tell me where she has been and what she has been doing.

I was so surprised to see her! I had no idea we would ever see her again and had accepted the fact that she was gone. She must have been trapped in a shed or building and no one knew she was there. We will probably never know, since she refuses to talk about it. A happy start to a new week.

YES!!!! I'm SO relieved. Our Jessie wouldn't talk about her escapades, either. Give Mazie lots of pets for me.

Thank Goodness!!!! I've had a terrible time thinking she might have been eaten by a wild animal. I could hardly bear the thought. Give her a big hug for me. She is a beautiful cat.

Our old tom cat remains mum to this day about the 10 days he went missing.

Cats are funny that way. Ours went missing for a week. We only found out a couple of months later that she was trapped in our neighbor's garage while they were on vacation. She survived a week without food or water. My husband cried when he thought we had lost her. It is such a relief when they finally make it home. Yea for Mazie!

Well, that's a relief! You need nerves of steel to survive being a cat owner!

That is Wonderful news. The not knowing when a pet disappears is awful.

I am so happy; I feel like she was my cat.

Your flowers are gorgeous. I love the smell of peonies.

Oh wonderful!! I am SO pleased! She must have been trapped somewhere - unless of course, she was out on the razzle with a Tom!

See, we told you not to give up!!

Oh! what wonderful news! I'm sure you read my post about Mr. Sammy, my sister-in-law's cat.

We have had dogs, who were not street wise, escape our fence and be on the lam. ZWe and friends would roam the streets of our small town calling their name.

Only an animal lover can know the despair and grief, or the joy and relief, of such events.

Oh I am so happy she came home to you, what a relief!

We thought we'd lost Cal Jo for all of 45 mins on Weds night and it was a horrible feeling.

Oh thank goodness she found her way home! I know how devastating it is to think they are gone for good. Let's hope she learned her lesson...
