It melted rather quickly, but stayed cold and windy all day. Not very pleasant weather to be on a lawn tractor, so we didn't get up the leaves.
Instead we made a leisurely trip to the grocery store, where we went down every aisle and looked for new and interesting things. (We didn't find any.) Then when we got home, we settled down under blankets and watched TV all afternoon.
It was nice to have a totally lazy Sunday.

Ok I admit I am a bit jealous. We rarely get even an dusting here in Newport News.
