Vegetable Salad .........

My Dad loves this vegetable salad, so I make it every holiday for him. It's easy to make and will keep for a long time in the refrigerator.

1 can peas (I use leSueur with mushrooms and oions)
1 can french cut green beans
1 can white shoepeg corn
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup chopped celery
1 large jar chopped pimento
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup white vinegar
1 tbsp. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper

Drain water off vegetables and mix well in a large bowl. Mix sugar, oil, vinegar, water, salt, and pepper and pour over vegetables. Refrigerate for 24 hours, then drain off liquid and serve.
